FRP (Fibre-Reinforced Plastic)
Fibergrate FRP has a high strength-to-weight ratio as opposed to metal, concrete and wood materials, making it suitable for gratings that can easily carry heavy loads and weigh less than steel gratings. It is corrosion-resistant, thus eliminating the need for high maintenance like sandblasting, scraping and painting. This unit can be easily cleaned with a high-pressure washer and has a high friction factor that makes it safe in wet and oily environments. FRP has low thermal conductivity (that is, heat transfer occurs at a lower rate), offering a more comfortable product surface when physical contact occurs.
