They are constructed of surface yarns connected from side to side for protecting the core yarns and positioning the surface & tensile yarns to support the load. Wire mesh slings are used primarily in metalworking applications where the load is abrasive, hot or frequently cut the web slings. They have steel construction to resist abrasion & cutting. The mesh width can grip the loads without much stretching to control & balance the load without damaging them. Wire mesh slings are of two types, Type 1 has triangle & chocker endpoints and type 2 has 2 triangle endpoints.
