Apollo 70-100 Series bronze inline ball valves are used to control the flow of fluid in a system and feature FNPT connections on both ends. These corrosion-resistant valves have a maximum operating pressure of 600 psi and are available in different temperature ranges, stem types and materials, seat materials and pipe sizes.

Apollo 94MBV mini ball valves are suitable for controlling fluid and oil flow in irrigation systems and engine coolers, respectively, as well as regulating the gas pressure in pipelines. They feature a forged brass body for high strength and corrosion resistance and a lever handle allowing quick adjustments in the fluid flow. These mini ball valves feature double Viton O-ring stem seals for resistance against chemicals and extreme temperatures, thereby minimising the risk of leakage.

Apollo 86B-400 Series butt weld ball valves are ideal for secure and efficient connections in pipelines in the oil & gas, chemical and petrochemical industries. Their butt weld design ensures reliable and leak-free joints for handling demanding pressures and corrosive substances. They feature a full port design for minimising pressure drop and promoting a smooth fluid passage. These weld ball valves incorporate stainless steel trim and hardware for rigidity and resistance to corrosion. They feature pressure-balanced solid ball construction for maintaining optimal seal integrity and flow control. These valves are equipped with compression-controlled spiral wound gaskets ensuring a secure seal, minimising the risk of leakage. They feature an anti-blowout one-piece bottom entry stem for safety and stability, preventing stem displacement. AInsert the Apollo ball valve's input and output into your threaded assembly and screw them. Before installing the handle, make sure it is properly installed (parallel is open).
While Apollo ball valves can be used for throttling, they are not as precise as other types of valves. So, if you want a valve only for throttling purposes, then you should go for Apollo globe valves.
A quarter-turn valve is not the same as a ball valve, but a ball valve is a type of quarter-turn valve. A quarter-turn valve is a general term for any valve that requires only a quarter-turn (90 degrees) of the valve handle or lever to move from fully closed to fully open or vice versa. So, while a ball valve is a type of quarter-turn valve, not all quarter-turn valves are ball valves.
A two-way ball valve has only two ports and can only allow or disallow the flow. A three-way ball valve, on the other hand, has three ports and can be used to divert, mix or isolate flows from multiple directions.
They provide better sealing, require less force to operate, have lower pressure drops and offer faster response times.
Proper maintenance of ball valves involves periodic inspection, lubrication of seals & bearings and addressing any signs of leakage or damage.
