It comes in a rubber holster to protect the meter and has a large LCD display for easy viewing. Digital multimeters are test tools designed to measure two or more electrical values like voltage (volt), current (ampere) and resistance (ohm). Reed Instruments offers pocket sized multimeters capable of measuring AC / DC current, voltage, frequency, capacitance, resistance and temperature. They feature a clear, backlit LCD readout with an analog bar graph for accurate readings and double moulded plastic housing which can withstand harsh industrial environments. These digital multimeters are IP67 dust and waterproof with Cat IV 600 V, Cat III 1000 V safety ratings. Digital multimeters from Westward offer AC / DC voltage & amperage, true RMS AC response, 9999 pF to 99,990 µF capacitance, diode test and data hold.They feature a wide, easy-to-read backlit LCD for accurate measurements and a basic DC accuracy of +/-0.5% of reading +2 digits.
Standard portable digital multimeters measure DC voltage with an accuracy of 0.5%. Instruments made for laboratories can be accurate to a few parts per million.
Digital multimeters do not require deep cleaning. Users can clean them by swiftly wiping them with a damp (but not wet) cloth. Specialised cleaning wipes are also available for keeping them dust free.
