Starrett 733 Series electronic micrometers are used for measuring the outside dimensions of workpieces & raw materials in metalworking applications. They feature a friction thimble mechanism to provide uniform pressure for accurate & repeatable measurement and a single-value readout LCD screen for ease of readability (in inch & metric units). These micrometers are equipped with micro-lapped carbide measuring faces ensuring accuracy & wear resistance, and knurled ring-type lock nuts for holding items in place.

Starrett outside micrometers are designed for measuring the thickness and external dimensions of small parts. These units feature a combination ratchet & speeder unit for providing quicker adjustment and a friction thimble for delivering uniform pressure throughout the operation.
