Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a paint tank and a pressure pot?

A paint tank holds paint at atmospheric pressure while the pressure pot holds paint under a specific pressure above atmospheric.

What is a pressure pot paint system?

A pressure pot paint system is a type of paint delivery system that uses a specialised container called a pressure pot to hold paint under pressure. The pressure atomises the paint as it is being sprayed, resulting in a smoother, more even application. The system is used with a spray gun and an air compressor and can be used to apply a wide range of coatings, including oils, urethanes and lacquers.

How do I clean a paint tank or pressure pot?

While the tank is still wet, remove the paint using a solvent or water-based cleaner.
