Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of ARO and Plast-O-Matic solenoid coils used for generating a controlled magnetic field in antennas, electromagnets, valves and inductors. These solenoid coils require a constant electric current supply to produce a magnetic field and then convert it into mechanical energy or linear motion. Plast-O-Matic NEMA-4 rated solenoid coils feature polyester construction to resist dirt or water splashes and a 1/2 inch NPT connector which allows internal electrical connections, even when externally disconnected with the coil. These Class H insulated coils are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 122 degrees F and delivering a maximum power output of 24 watts.
For maintaining minimum heat generation rates and energy consumption, ARO solenoid coils provide an interchanging facility for switching between DC and AC coils on the same solenoid stem. Choose from a wide range of these solenoid coils available in 12 VDC / 24 VAC, 120 VAC and 24 VDC voltage options on Raptor Supplies.
