Norton Abrasives all purpose cut off wheels provide fast cuts on foundry cut-off applications including stainless steels, hard & soft carbon steels, titanium, tool steels, ductiles, gray irons, superalloys & casts. They feature aluminium oxide or zirconia alumina construction for exceptional cut rates and have high performance resin bonds & reinforcements to withstand high pressures & aggressive demanding applications. These wheels offer improved abrasive durability, resistance to heat & side pressures and come with Type 1 cut-off quality providing increased cutting surfaces & minimum interference with the workpieces. The optimal bond hardness in selected models bring excellent blends of cut rates & life and are available in abrasive grits of 20, 24 & 100.

They feature self sharpening zirconia alumina abrasive construction to provide long life & fast cuts and the cutting edge bond technology deliver supreme performance in foundry cut off operations. These wheels can withstand aggressive demanding applications and the integrated new bond technology ensures improved thermal stability, heat-resistance & mechanical strengths. The extra coarse grits deliver moderate material removal, initial blending of mismatched surfaces & welds and are available in thicknesses of 3 & 5 inches.

For multiple grinding applications, these wheels come in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse-grained variants with aluminium oxide, silicon carbide or ceramic alumina as the abrasive material. Norton abrasive grinding wheels are also offered in different wheel diameters, arbor and grit sizes, thicknesses and rotational speeds (1625 - 4965 rpm).
