They are used to protect electrical switches, receptacles & plugs against accidental disconnects due to the entry of water into these devices. These UL listed & CSA certified covers feature cast aluminium / thermoplastic / polycarbonate construction for impact resistance & thermal efficiency, and are capable of being operated at temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 degrees C. Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems weatherproof wall plates are designed to vertically mount over Hubbell PresSwitch push button switches to protect them from dust, rain, heat & snow. The moulded construction with light texture finish provides a clean appearance. These wall plates are available in neoprene (equipped with 120V pilot light for power indication) and silicone (with clear bubble for a clear vision of pushbuttons) variants on Raptor Supplies.
