Frequently Asked Questions

How to position these pivot pins with cutting blocks?

Selected pivot pins have a built-in hole that supports the centre pin. Once the centre pin is installed at the centre of the gasket material, the pivot pin is screwed loosely on the cutting block. The centre pin stem is guided into the pivot pin hole to hold the cutting block's end in position while allowing the other end to move freely in a circular motion for cutting ring gaskets from gasket material.

How to determine the gasket size using these pivot posts?

Once they are screwed onto the cutting block, the gasket radius can be determined by observing the etched scale on the cutting block. The scale marking against the pivot pin's flat size shows the cutting radius of the cutting block.

Do these pivot pins need external centre pins to anchor the cutting block?

Selected models have built-in centre pin tips on the pivot pin head to anchor the pin & cutting block on the centre of the gasket material to be cut.
