Direct-Fired Portable Oil & Kerosene Torpedo Heaters

Dayton oil fired heaters are used for heating ventilated spaces like construction sites and jobsites. They have open flame that straight away heats the air to warm a space. These powder coated portable heaters can be comfortably moved wherever heat is required and also provide an adjustable heat angle. Choose from a range of these torpedo heaters, available in 175, 265, 500, 600 and 3600 CFM flow rates.

Working Mechanism

  • Electric magnet pumps are used in Dayton kerosene heaters to propel fuel into the fuel line and eventually the burner head's nozzle, spraying it into the combustion chamber.
  • A spark plug ignites the fuel & air mixture and starts the heating process.
  • They circulate heated air across a room using a fan.
  • The fans suck air in from the rear.
  • Finally, the air is circulated through a cylinder to heat the area.

Features

  • Dayton torpedo heaters have an open flame that directly heats the air to warm a space.
  • Owing to their portability, they can be comfortably moved wherever heat is required and also offer an adjustable heat angle.
  • These oil-fired heaters feature powder-coated finish to resist corrosion.

Compatible Accessories

  • Fuel Tank Assemblies: Dayton torpedo heaters can be fitted with new fuel tank assemblies once the pre-installed assembly gets old, worn-out or damaged.
  • Thermostats: These temperature controls in the fuel oil torpedo heater can get damaged or show the wrong result. Users should replace them for proper heating.
