EATON Danfoss 4SK30 Series Check Valves

Eaton Danfoss 4SK30 Series check valves prevent the backflow of fluid in refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems. They feature a poppet that opens or closes the valve ports to control the fluid flow in the system. These valves have a compact design and are made of durable steel to w...ithstand high pressure and temperature ranges. They are integrated with Buna-N seals to create a barrier between the poppet and valve port to prevent fluid from leaking and further prevent intrusion of contaminants for the smooth functioning of internal parts.Read more

Working Mechanism

  • The working mechanism of these check valves is based on a spring-loaded poppet device.
  • When the fluid flows in the desired direction, it pushes the poppet valve open, allowing the fluid to pass through until the pressure drops.
  • When the flow tries to move in the opposite direction or stops, the spring in the check valve compresses and seals the poppet valve, thus preventing the flow of fluid.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is filtration needed in control valves?

Filtered fluid reduces the risk of clogging the control valve, ensuring a smooth flow of fluid and maintaining constant valve performance.

What is internal pressure relief?

It is a self-relieving mechanism that automatically relieves excessive internal body pressure within a hydraulic system caused by sudden changes in line pressures.

What is the difference between a control valve and directional control valve?

A directional control valve can start, stop, accelerate, decelerate and change the direction of flow in a hydraulic system. The control valve, on the other hand, regulates flow and pressure in a fluid system.
