The pressure relief valve is connected between the DCV and the branch circuit, whereas a pressure-reducing valve is attached between the pump and the tank line.
Screw-in cartridge valves maintain fluid flow in one direction only, whereas slip-in cartridge valves maintain bi-directional flow.
