EATON Danfoss VF1-16 Series Flow Control Valves

Eaton Danfoss VF1-16 Series flow control valves are used in piping and plumbing systems to regulate the flow of fluids, such as water, gas or oil. They are beneficial in HVAC systems, water treatment plants, oil refineries and chemical processing plants.

Working Mechanism

  • When the valve is fully open, the movable element is in a position that allows the fluid to flow freely through the valve without obstruction.
  • As the movable element is adjusted, the opening for fluid to pass through becomes smaller, restricting the fluid flow through the valve.
  • The amount of restriction can be adjusted by changing the position of the movable element.

Features

  • Eaton Danfoss VF1-16 Series flow control valves feature steel construction to withstand pressures up to 210 bar.
  • They have two ports to connect to two different pipes at the same time.
  • These valves have Buna-N seals to minimise leakage.
  • They comply with the ISO cleanliness code of 18/16/13 microns for preventing contaminants from entering the valves and handling flows up to 114 litres per minute.

Compatible Accessories

  • Eaton 565810 Spare Part Seal Kit: This kit assists users in replacing the damaged / worn-out seals to ensure efficient operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the operating temperature range of these valves?

These valves can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 120 degrees C.

How to choose the right flow control valve for a specific application?

The choice of flow control valve depends on the type of fluid, flow rate, pressure, temperature and system requirements.

How to maintain a flow control valve?

The maintenance of a flow control valve involves periodic inspection, cleaning, lubrication and repair or replacement of damaged or worn parts.

How to prevent cavitation in flow control valves?

Cavitation can be prevented in flow control valves by using a valve with a high-pressure drop rating, reducing the fluid velocity or installing an anti-cavitation trim.
