ALittle Giant submersible sump pumps drain out water from basement sump pits and manage while being completely underwater. They are immersed in the water to cool the pump motors so that they can operate longer without getting overheated. These pumps come equipped with a switch that starts the pump motor when sump pit water rises to a required height and stops the pump motor when the water comes down.
