Working Mechanism

  • Solenoid valve consists of a coil, plunger, valve seat, and fluid passage.
  • In the de-energised state, the spring-loaded plunger remains against the valve seat, blocking fluid flow.
  • When the coil is charged, a magnetic field is generated, attracting the plunger and causing it to move away from the valve seat.
  • This movement opens the passage, allowing fluid to flow as long as the coil remains energised.
  • When the coil is de-energised, the spring force returns the plunger to its closed position, stopping fluid flow.
