Westward hydraulic service jacks provide quick and effortless lifts of rated capacity loads. They are used with jack stands to keep the vehicle raised for easy maintenance. These jacks are further used to raise one end of the low-clearance buses and farm, industrial & construction vehicles.

Working Mechanism

  • Place the center jack saddle under the approved lift point of the vehicle.
  • Rotate the release valve in a clockwise direction until firm resistance is felt.
  • Pump the handle until the desired height is attained.
  • Place an appropriately rated jack stand to transfer the load.
  • To lower the jack, lift the load high enough to free the jack stand.
  • Rotate the release valve in the counter-clockwise direction to remove the jack from under the vehicle.
  • Fully lower the saddle once the job is finished.

  • Lower the saddle and remove the vent screw.
  • Drain the fluid into a container by laying the jack on its side.
  • Fill the oil up to a height of 3/16 inches from the inner cylinder.
  • Reinstall the vent screw after filling.
