Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How often should the monitor be calibrated?

A. Calibration of monitors should be performed on a monthly basis or whenever the reading appears to be suspect. For future reference, affix a calibration date sticker.

Q. How to shut down the system after use?

    A.
  • Ascertain that all personnel have exited the work area.
  • Turn off the air supply to the box.
  • Pull the relief valve ring out to relieve air pressure in the box.
  • Turn off the CO monitor. Remove the 9-volt batteries only if absolutely necessary. They are used to keep the sensor's bias voltage constant. This keeps the sensor ready for use right away.
  • Remove the airline hoses.
  • Install dust caps as needed.
