Destaco 375 Seriespull action latch clamps are suitable for pulling / closing workpieces that are placed parallel to the clamp base. They feature an easy to use handle to place a horizontal U hook around an opposing workpiece. The clamp handles are equipped with a patented thumb control lever to provide convenient one handed operation. These clamps are ideal for repetitive closing & opening of doors & lids in latching, moulding and assembly operations. Destaco 375-BR clamp has a weld-on base for quick, easy & permanent installation on a flat, horizontal surface / workpiece. This latch clamp has heavy duty steel construction for preventing bending / breaking under heavy loads (maximum 4000 lb). It features Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for preventing accidental opening of the clamp. Raptor Supplies offers this clamp in variants having flanged base for temporary & easily removable installation; without Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for reducing operating costs where secondary locking of the clamp is not required. You can order these latch clamps with longer hooks (25, 50 & 100 mm), by simply adding -M-25, -M-50 or -M-100 at the end of the model number.
We also offer a similar (Destaco 385-R) latch clamp having a flange base, providing a maximum holding capacity of 7500 lb.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. What other variants of Destaco 375-BR latch clamp are available on Raptor Supplies?
A. Raptor Supplies offers these manual clamps without the Destaco Toggle Lock Plus feature (375-B) to reduce operating costs; in flange base mounting style (375-R) for temporary installation using threaded holes on the base & supplied latch plate.
Q. Is Destaco 375-BR latch clamp offered in different hook lengths?
A. Raptor Supplies can deliver similar latch clamps having different hook lengths, such as 25 mm longer than standard length (375-BR-M-25), 50 mm longer than standard length (375-BR-M-50) and 100 mm longer than standard hook length (375-BR-M-100).
Q. How do latch clamps work?
A. These pull action latch clamps have a handle to operate the tool, a clamping arm to act as a contact point between the work item & the clamp and a base to attach the clamp to the surface. Once the simple linkage system of the clamp is put in the over-centre position, the handle is moved for creating a force parallel to the base to hold the work items.
Q. What are the benefits of using Toggle Lock Plus mechanism in Destaco manual clamps?
A. Many of the Destaco manual clamps come with the Toggle Lock Plus feature to act as a secondary locking mechanism and ensure the over-centre toggle lock condition of the clamps. This mechanism is essential when fixtures of the clamp are in motion, in a vibratory environment or are inverted. It offers an extra level of safety for the user and the workpiece.
Q. Which grease is recommended to be used with Destaco clamps when rebuilding?
A. Whenever you're dealing with the brand's mechanical clamps, it is recommended to use a coupling grease like Mobil XTC.
Q. What does holding capacity mean in terms of clamps?
A. The holding capacity or the holding force depicts the clamp's capability to hold down equipment or sheet metal on the assembly line or during similar manufacturing processes.
Q. What does the red colour of the handle of Destaco clamps mean?
A. The red coloured handles alert the user about the location of the operating handle and when he should grab it. The red colour has no additional advantage to the working of the clamps.
Q. Can the red handles of the Destaco clamps be removed?
A. Most Destaco clamps feature grips that can be easily removed by simply sliding them off. But some handle grips undergo vinyl dipping to fit the underlying handle and hence, have to be cut off for removal.
