About EXTECH

Its product catalogue includes data loggers, calibrators, gas analysers, gauges, probes, stopwatches, controllers, DC power supplies, stroboscopes, testers, detectors, counters, reagents and refills. These tools are widely used in installation, testing and maintenance work in various industries and laboratories. The brand's digital manometers are designed to measure positive, negative and differential air & gas pressure. These portable, hand-held units feature 11 selectable units of measure that can help measure gauge or differential pressures from 0 to 0.5 psi. They are further incorporated with LCD screens with backlighting for clear reading even in dim lights, zero function for offset correction and data hold feature to lock the last measured data. They are ideal for detecting blockages in filters, chillers and condensers, as well as used for calibrating pressure transmitters and pressure recorders. Extech moisture metre is used to measure the percentage of water in a given substance and is available in a non-invasive, pinless moisture measurement model and a pin-type probe model for a wide range of applications.

Things To Consider

Cross-Reference Alternatives

Extech Instruments MPNs cross individual references to the equivalent Reed Instruments and Westward model numbers for anemometers, data loggers and multimeters. So, if you're looking for a competitor item that is either out of stock or obsolete, chances are Raptor Supplies has the equivalent Extech Instruments products available.

Shipping

These Extech Instruments products range from small to large sizes. They may require careful packaging as some items might get damaged while shipping. Hence, these items are delivered by courier shipment and air freight for minimum downtime.

EXTECH Competitive Advantages

ExStik Conductivity / TDS / Salinity Metre

The Extech EC400 metre offers functions like six units of measurement, an internal memory to store up to 15 labelled readings and self-calibration functionality upon power-up. The unit incorporates the microprocessor chip and patented sensor technology to enable the simultaneous measurement of conductivity, salinity, TDS and temperature. It features a large digital display with an analogue bar graph to indicate sample trends and allows 3 ranges of measurement from tap water, wastewater and any aqueous solution. It includes a metre & conductivity cell, a protective sensor cap, a sample cup, four batteries and a neckstrap.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to prepare a sample for conductivity / TDS / Salinity test?

Before testing, place the test sample in a sample cup with enough depth (minimum 2.5 cm) to cover the electrode properly. Now stir the solution to remove any air bubbles and start testing the solution to get the desired reading.

How do I reset the calibrated data in my EC400 metre?

  • Turn off the metre.
  • Press and Hold the Cal / Recall and Mode / Hold buttons.
  • Press the on / off button momentarily. As soon as the display comes on, release all three above-mentioned buttons.
  • The display will show dFLt rSt (default reset) on the screen, and all the calibration data will be erased. If the remark does not appear, repeat the procedure.
  • Now re-calibrate the tester for pH and Conductivity measurements.

Can I do manual data logging in my EasyView temperature datalogger?

  • Press the MEM button on the display panel to manually store a single reading in memory.
  • When pressed, the MEM icon and location number are displayed on the screen (for two seconds) and then switched to the normal display.

How to maintain the EasyView temperature datalogger?

  • Regularly clean the exterior of the datalogger using a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive or harsh cleaning agents that could damage the device.
  • Avoid exposing the datalogger to extreme temperatures, humidity or direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Replace batteries when they are low to prevent data loss or interruptions in the recording.
  • When not in use, store the datalogger in a dry and clean environment. Keep it in a protective case or pouch to prevent dust accumulation and potential damage.

What gases can be detected by EzFlex combustible gas detector?

EzFlex combustible gas detector can detect a wide range of gases including natural gas, methane, ethane, propane, butane, acetone, alcohol, ammonia, steam, carbon monoxide, gasoline, jet fuel, smoke, Lacquer thinner and more.
