Macromatic TD-84121-40 time delay relay is ideal for selecting a time delay between 0.1 to 102.3 seconds. This TD-8 Series relay unit can be programmed by moving the increment switches of a 10-position DIP switch and adding their corresponding values. It is equipped with an LED that indicates the status of the relay.

  • It is equipped with an LED that lights to a green colour for indicating the unit's power status and lights to red colour to show the energised relay status.

A. After the input voltage is applied, a trigger can be applied to the relay unit which will start the time delay (t1). After this time delay (t1), the output becomes energised. The output contacts stay in energised state for the time delay (t2) after the trigger is removed. After the time delay (t2), the output becomes de-energised & the time delay relay becomes ready for another trigger. Removing the trigger during the time delay period (t1) de-energises the output and resets the time delay (t1). Reapplying the trigger during the time delay period (t2) causes the output to remain energised and resets the time delay (t2).
