Nibco 600R 3x2-1/2 copper reducer is used in plumbing systems to facilitate a smooth water flow transition between pipes of 3 and 2-1/2-inch diameters.
A. First, ensure that the fitting is of the correct size and type for the application. Then, clean the pipe and fitting to remove any debris, dirt or other contamination. Next, apply flux to the pipe and fitting and then assemble them together. Finally, use a propane torch to heat the assembled fitting until the solder melts and the joint is properly sealed.
A. Wrot and cast copper tube fittings are used in plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
