Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How to install Sensorex TX10TX100 pH / ORP transmitter?

A.

  • Turn the transmitter upside down so that the display is facing you.
  • Use a small hammer and punch to knock out one or two conduit knockouts.
  • Assemble the back cover to provide mechanical support for the enclosure walls.
  • Install the sensor flow cell in a location that is within the maximum sensor cable length (30 feet).

Q. How do I troubleshoot Sensorex transmitters?

A.

  • Verify the proper power input is present (12 - 24V DC, 8A maximum).
  • If low voltage signal cables are near power wiring, cross them at 90 degrees to minimise coupling.
  • Check for possible ground loops.
  • If the readings are very erratic after the wiring has been checked, look for a possible AC ground loop by temporarily moving the sensor to a sample of solution in a beaker or other container.

A.

  • First, press and hold (E) to enter the setup menu.

  • Navigate through the arrow keys (up & down) to select the correct buffer.
  • Then, place the electrode into the selected buffer.
  • When the readings get stable, press (E) to save the first point.
  • Then move on to the second buffer selection using the same arrow keys.
  • Again, place the electrode to select the second reading.
  • Press (E) to complete the calibration process.
