Q. What is the boil-out procedure of this gas fryer?

A.

  • Drain the tank and flush out scraps and sediment using a tank brush.
  • Close the drain valve and fill the tank with water. Use a low-foaming cleaner / degreaser to clean the fry tank.
  • Add commercial boil-out solution. The solution level must be between the minimum and maximum levels on the fryer tank.
  • Set the thermostat to a temperature of around 200 degrees F. Allow the solution to simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Drain the cleaning solution from the tank.
  • Close the drain valve and refill the tank with water.
  • Add 1 cup of vinegar to neutralise the alkaline left by the cleaner.
  • Drain the tank and rinse thoroughly with clear, hot water.
