Working Mechanism

  • The plug is placed inside the opening of the pipe which needs to be sealed / blocked for testing.
  • Users need to connect the end of the inflation hose to the fitting on the plug, while the other end of the inflation hose should be connected to the pump or line pressure.
  • The plug is inflated using the pump connected to the inflation hose.
  • The inflated plug blocks / seals the pipe for testing tasks.
  • After testing, the inflation hose should be deflated & removed first, and then the plug should be deflated.

Features

  • These plugs have mechanically bonded natural rubber construction & end plates for eliminating failures during plug expansion / contraction.
  • The rubber construction ensures that the plug holds the air pressure for extended periods of time without leakage.
  • These plugs come with full body cording for ensuring durability.
  • They have small deflated diameters for easy storage.
  • The aluminium end plates prevent corrosion upon contacting fluids for extended periods.
  • These units have pressure relief valves for ensuring user safety.
