Features

  • They feature a capacitor start / run design for delivering a very high starting torque under full-load conditions.
  • These motors have TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) enclosures with an external fan mounted to the shaft to protect the motor from overheating.
  • The single-phase design of these motors delivers speeds up to 1760 rpm and horizontal motor orientation offers user convenience.
  • Their rolled steel frame provides structural rigidity and lubricated ball bearings allow smooth movement and frictional loss.
  • They include a condensate drain and a shaft slinger for removing liquid contaminants out of the motor

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the advantage of rigid mounting?

The motor is attached to the frame of the equipment with the help of bolts and fasteners and resists excessive vibrations during operation. This type of mounting style is suitable for small-sized motors and provides an accurate alignment between the motor and the surrounding mechanisms.

What is manual thermal protection?

Manual thermal protection involves turning off the motor when it generates excessive heat during the operation. The thermal protectors will be required to reset after the motor cools down.

What is the purpose of black aqua satin enamel?

Aqua satin enamel offers an extremely hard-wearing finish to the motor body for superior scratch and corrosion resistance. They also resist peeling and flaking and last longer with excellent gloss retention.
